Procapsin® gel contains substances that create favorable growth conditions for hair loss due to androgen alopecia. Procapsin® contains two active ingredients, a pollen extract and 1,5-pentanediol. The pollen extract provides a source of natural ingredients, and 1,5-pentanediol acts as a solvent to unplug the hair follicle, as well as acts as an enhancer for the uptake of nutrients.

PROCAPSIN® is a gel that is applied to the scalp, and has a documented effect against hair loss. The product was developed in Sweden and has been shown to be effective for both men and women.
The product was clinically tested at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. During the study the hairs were counted at a defined area for all participants. Half got 50% more growth while a third of the participants got twice as much hair as they had before. It took several months before the participants noticed a major difference.
