Procapsin® has proven its effect on hair loss. The product has been tested in a study conducted at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg. Of those who participated in the study, more than 80% gained hair growth. In another product test carried out by dermatologists in Berlin in 2010, the doctor could see a significant difference after four weeks. The subjects themselves could clearly see the difference after a few months. 59 patients participated in the study, one third of whom were women.
Experiences from the studies show that the starting point for the individual patient has a lot to say for the result. For example, if there has been no hair growth in the area for more than 5-7 years, it may be difficult to create regrowth through this treatment, says Professor Jonas Müntzing, who has summarized the Berlin study.
